The short version
This site is for educational and informational purposes. We share what we know, what’s worked for us and our clients, and what we believe — but your business is your business, your decisions are your decisions, and your results will be your own.
We are not your lawyer, doctor, therapist, accountant, or financial advisor. Please don’t treat us like one.
The full disclaimers are below. They matter.
1. Educational purposes only
All content on this website, in our newsletter, in our podcast (The Strategic Entrepreneur), in our courses, in our coaching sessions, on our social media, and in any other format we publish or deliver is provided for educational and informational purposes only.
Nothing on this site is intended to constitute, replace, or substitute for advice from a licensed professional in any field. By using our content or services, you agree that you are responsible for your own decisions, business, and outcomes.
2. Not legal advice
Nothing we publish or share constitutes legal advice. We are not attorneys. We don’t review contracts for legal sufficiency, advise on intellectual property, structure your business entities, or interpret laws or regulations.
If you need legal advice — about contracts, your business structure, employment law, intellectual property, privacy compliance, or anything else — please consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
3. Not medical or mental health advice
Nothing we publish or share constitutes medical, mental health, psychological, or psychiatric advice. We are not licensed medical or mental health professionals.
If you are struggling with your mental health, experiencing burnout, anxiety, depression, or any other health concern, please consult a licensed medical or mental health professional. Our content about overwhelm, capacity, energy, or wellbeing is general life and business commentary — not therapy, medical advice, or a diagnosis.
If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified mental health crisis service or emergency line in your country.
4. Not financial, tax, or accounting advice
Nothing we publish or share constitutes financial, investment, tax, accounting, or bookkeeping advice. We are not certified financial planners, CPAs, tax preparers, investment advisors, or registered representatives.
We talk about pricing, business decisions, revenue, and the financial side of running a business — but that’s based on our experience and observations, not professional financial guidance for you specifically. Before making financial decisions for your business, please consult a licensed CPA, financial advisor, or tax professional.
5. Income and earnings disclaimer
We are committed to being honest about what we do and what we’ve done.
Cindy Gordon is a 6x founder. She has built six businesses, including one she acquired and rebuilt, and successfully exited four. These are real results from real businesses. She can substantiate these claims.
Your results will not be hers.
When we share testimonials, case studies, client examples, revenue numbers, or business outcomes — ours or anyone else’s — we are sharing real stories. We are not promising that you’ll achieve the same outcomes. We can’t promise that, and we won’t.
Your results depend on many factors outside our control, including (but not limited to):
- Your specific business, offer, and market
- The amount of time, focus, and consistent effort you put in
- Your existing skills, audience, network, and resources
- The current economic and industry conditions
- Decisions you make and how you implement what you learn
- Factors entirely beyond anyone’s control
We do not guarantee any specific outcome — financial or otherwise — from purchasing our products, taking our courses, or working with us in coaching or programs. Statements like “our clients see X” or “I built six businesses” are statements of fact about specific people and specific situations. They are not statements of what you will achieve.
If you’re looking for guaranteed income or guaranteed results, this isn’t the right place to spend your money. We don’t sell guarantees. We sell the strategic thinking, frameworks, and individualized assessment that help business owners make better decisions. What you do with those decisions is up to you.
6. Results disclaimer
Testimonials and case studies featured on this site, in our marketing, in our courses, and on our social media reflect the specific experiences of specific clients at specific points in their business journeys. They are not typical results. They are not guarantees. They are not promises.
We share testimonials because they’re true and they illustrate what’s possible — not because they predict what will happen for you.
Where applicable, we may compensate clients (for example, with a discount, gift, or other consideration) in exchange for the time it takes them to participate in a case study, video, or written testimonial. When we do, we disclose it. The substance of every testimonial is the client’s actual experience in their own words.
7. Affiliate disclosure
In compliance with the Federal Trade Commission’s guidelines, we disclose:
This site, our newsletter, our emails, our social media content, and our other marketing channels may include affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.
We only recommend products, services, and tools that:
- We genuinely use, have used, or believe in
- We’ve reviewed or researched
- We think are a fit for the audience we serve
We do not recommend products solely because of affiliate compensation, and an affiliate relationship does not make our recommendation less honest. If we recommend it, we’d recommend it whether there was a commission or not.
When required, we identify affiliate links with language like “this is an affiliate link” or “I’ll earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.” If we forget to label one and you’re curious, please ask.
8. Testimonials and case studies
Testimonials, reviews, case studies, and client stories shared on this site and in our marketing materials are real. They reflect the actual words and experiences of actual clients. Where appropriate, names, identifying details, or business specifics may be lightly edited for clarity, brevity, or privacy.
We do not invent testimonials. We do not pay for fake reviews. We do not present hypothetical scenarios as if they were real client outcomes.
That said: please don’t take any individual testimonial as representative of what will happen for you. See the Results disclaimer above.
9. External links
Our website, podcast, newsletter, and other content may include links to third-party websites, products, tools, or services that we do not own or control.
We provide these links because we think they’re useful or relevant. But we are not responsible for the content, accuracy, security, privacy practices, or business practices of any third-party site or service. Visiting external sites is at your own risk, and you should review their terms and privacy policies before using them.
A link from our site to a third-party site is not an endorsement of everything on that site.
10. AI-generated content disclaimer
We use AI tools as part of our backend workflow — for research, outlines, editing, and operational tasks. We do not use AI to replace our voice, our thinking, or the substance of what we publish. Our podcast, newsletter, courses, coaching, and original content reflect our actual point of view and experience.
We believe in proof of human content — content that only we could create. That’s a core part of what we teach and how we operate.
11. Forward-looking statements
Some of our content includes predictions, opinions, and forward-looking statements about industry trends, AI, business models, and the future of online entrepreneurship. These reflect our current opinions and observations. They are not guarantees about what will actually happen.
The world changes. Our views may change with it.
12. Errors and updates
We do our best to keep our content accurate and up to date. If you spot an error — a broken link, a factual mistake, an outdated reference — we appreciate you letting us know.
We reserve the right to correct, update, or remove any content at any time without prior notice.
