Cookie Policy

What this policy is

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use on ExclusivelyCindy.com, why we use them, and what choices you have. It works alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

This site is operated by Cindy Gordon LLC, doing business as Exclusively Cindy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device (computer, phone, tablet) when you visit them. They’re used to make websites work, to remember things about you (like login status or preferences), and to help website owners understand how visitors use their site.

Some cookies come from us (called first-party cookies). Others come from third-party services we use, like analytics providers and advertising platforms (called third-party cookies).

Cookies can also be:

  • Session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser
  • Persistent cookies, which stay on your device until they expire or you delete them

We use both kinds.

This policy also covers similar tracking technologies — like pixels, web beacons, and local storage — even though they’re not technically “cookies.” We refer to all of them as “cookies” in this policy for simplicity.

Cookies we use

We group the cookies on this site into four categories.

1. Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the site to work. They handle things like security, basic functionality, and processing your purchases. You can’t opt out of these — without them, the site doesn’t work.

2. Analytics cookies

These help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. They tell us things like which pages are most visited, where visitors come from, and how long they stay.

You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

3. Advertising and marketing cookies

These help us run advertising campaigns and measure how well they work. They also let us show more relevant ads to people who’ve visited our site.

4. Functional cookies

These improve your experience and let interactive features work — like chat tools and message integrations.

Cookies we do NOT use

For transparency: we do not use session recording or screen replay tools (like Hotjar or FullStory) on our website. We do not sell your personal information from cookies. We do not use cookies to track you across unrelated websites for our own advertising purposes (though Meta and TikTok may do so under their own terms when you’ve consented to their tracking elsewhere).

Cookies on private sessions and recordings

When you participate in a paid private session (such as a Strategy Session, 1:1 coaching call, or mastermind call), we may record the session using Zoom, Fathom, or Granola. These tools have their own cookies and tracking on their platforms, separate from this website. You will be informed at the start of any recorded session and can decline to participate.

This is covered more fully in our Privacy Policy.

How to manage cookies

You have several ways to control cookies:

In your browser

Most browsers let you view, manage, and delete cookies. Here are links to instructions for the most common ones:

You can typically:

  • Delete existing cookies
  • Block all cookies
  • Block third-party cookies only
  • Accept cookies on a site-by-site basis

Please note: blocking necessary cookies may break parts of the site, including checkout.

Mobile devices

On iOS and Android, you can adjust ad tracking settings in your device’s privacy or system settings. Each platform has its own controls — check your device’s documentation.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal to websites you visit. There’s currently no industry standard for how websites should respond to that signal, so this site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. We do, however, honor the legal opt-out requests described in our Privacy Policy.

Cookies and your privacy rights

If you live in California, the EU, the UK, or another jurisdiction with cookie or data privacy laws, you have specific rights regarding cookies and the data they collect. See the Your privacy rights section of our Privacy Policy for details.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as the cookies we use change. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top.
